Hello, I went to France for a week (last week) and it was really cool there! I had skiing lessons and I went sledging and Ice-skating.
The temperature went up to 20degrees celsius at midday! It was really warm.
I went there because my dad had a conference there and so we went with him. I missed a few things here but now i’m back!
I also went to Chamonix and took a telecabine up 3842m high to see Mont Blanc(the tallest mountain in Europe) I felt dizzy, sick, I had an earache, had an headache and found it hard to breathe. It was an amazing sight.
In the last day I went to Geneva (in Switzerland) it was sunny and beatiful.
I had a lovely time and I’m glad to be back at school and home, in other words is ‘I went to paradise!!!!!!!!‘
Wow! I’m still recovering from all the excitement of Creative and Performing Arts Week!
Early on in the week we tried out samba drumming. It was a lot of fun! Here are some photos, and if you click on the Audioboo link you can hear us in action too!
Wow, thank you so much everyone for sending in so much delicious food! We had so many really tasty things to eat, it was fabulous!
Stuffed vine leaves
Black and green olives
Orange and date salad with rosewater
Couscous with vegetables
And lots more!!!
Here are some photos:
Enjoy our watercolour paintings of Turkish scenes! We worked very hard on them.
Remember to bring in: A snack and drink for after school, a costume if you want one, any props if you want them, and your best poetic thoughts.
In our class we sometimes have to try and make a target number using 6 other numbers. You can add, subtract, multiply or divide.
Today our target was to make the number 487 using the numbers 20, 25, 3, 30, 7 and 5, but for the first time ever nobody managed it! (not even Mrs D)
We are not sure if it is possible…can anyone out there solve it???
You can only use each number once.
Good luck! Let us know if you do it!
